Help me make a simple body oil for dry skin.
For an adult body oil, start with 30 ml jojoba and 5–6 drops lavender. That follows Aromahead’s approximate 1% dilution guideline. [1]
Mix in a clean bottle and try a small patch of skin first. Plain jojoba is an option if you prefer no essential oil. [2]

The problem with asking the internet
Search an essential oil question tonight and you'll find a dozen blogs that contradict each other, or an answer that sounds right until it misses a dilution limit or a child-safety flag.
When the question is about your kids, your clients, or your own health, “sounds right” isn't good enough. Thymely answers from one library built over decades, and every answer shows its sources so you can check it yourself.

Where Thymely learned
Every Thymely answer comes from one place. The library the Aromahead family of companies has spent more than twenty years building. Courses, recipes, lab reports, and live teaching. Nothing scraped from the open web.
1,200+ lessons
Chemistry, blending, safety, and professional practice. The curriculum thousands of certified aromatherapists came up through, cited lesson by lesson.
2,300+ vetted recipes
Full formulations with measurements, safety notes, and age ratings. Diffusers, roll-ons, inhalers, sprays, and balms, all taught and proven in practice.
370+ oil profiles
Essential and carrier oils, from botanical name to maximum dermal percentage and shelf life. Each profile links to every recipe it appears in.
168+ lab analyses
Aromatics International's lab-verified chemistry, component by component. It lets Thymely match substitutions by chemical profile instead of aroma guesswork.
70+ chemical profiles
Linalool, limonene, 1,8-cineole, and beyond. Which component does the therapeutic work, what its safety concerns are, and which oils carry it.
Growing every month
Every live workshop, the monthly oil deep dives, every Natural Living Club event, and the professional articles from The Thriving Aromatherapist, indexed as they're taught.

The aromatherapist behind Thymely
Hi, I'm Karen. I got my start as a registered nurse, and I've been working with aromatherapy for more than twenty years.
This project has been such a joy for me. We've been creating content for the last several decades, and we continue to create more every week. Thymely takes all of it, the courses, the recipes, the workshops, the lab reports, and makes it extremely accessible to everybody. You ask, it answers from our work, and you can check the sources yourself.
And I'm not doing this alone. A team of world-renowned aromatherapists is constantly improving the system, reviewing how it answers and working together to improve outcomes. When something isn't quite right, we make it right at the source.

Child safety“Thymely was adamant: not for any age child.”
She was brand new and about to diffuse a blend with her granddaughter in the room. She checked Thymely first. It flagged the wintergreen within seconds and explained why. Methyl salicylate is a hard no around children. She swapped the oil and went on with her evening.

Common questions
No. Thymely answers only from the Aromahead family library. Course lessons, vetted recipes, lab reports, and the safety standards our team teaches. It shows the source behind every answer. If something isn't in our library, Thymely doesn't claim it.
Safety comes first in every answer. Aromahead has taught safe use since 1998, and thousands of certified aromatherapists trained on those standards. Every oil profile in the library carries a maximum dermal percentage. Every recipe carries an age rating and safety notes. Thymely checks dilution, age, and contraindications before it suggests a blend.
One library. Aromahead course lessons, vetted recipes, oil and component profiles, GCMS lab reports, and the live workshops and articles from The Thriving Aromatherapist. Nothing comes from the open web. Every answer names the document it came from, so you can read it yourself.
Anything you would ask an experienced aromatherapist. A recipe for a stuffy nose or a restless night. A substitute for the oil you ran out of. Dilution for a roller bottle. Which oils suit a toddler, a pregnancy, or a home with pets. You don't need training to ask, and practitioners use it to rework client recipes by chemistry.
Yes, as education. The library covers contraindications for common conditions, medications, pregnancy, and every age, and Thymely applies them to your blend. Many students use it to fit a recipe to a client's health picture. Diagnosis and prescriptions stay with your doctor, and Thymely will say when a question belongs there.
A team of certified aromatherapists reviews how Thymely answers. When something is off, they correct it at the source, so the fix holds for everyone. When the library is thin on a topic, the team writes the lesson.
